Trampoline Court Attendant – Part-time

Vertex Arena is searching for highly energetic and customer-savvy individuals who love the idea

Essential Job Functions


  • Enforce rules and ensure customers follow all set safety guidelines

  • Ensure customers have a welcoming and efficient check-in at trampoline entrance

  • Promote safety throughout the trampolines and adjoining spectator areas at all times

  • Facilitate customer inquiries and requests or forward on to an appropriate team member

  • Communicate product offerings and other special events to customers and guests

  • Cross train in other areas to effectively communicate programs and activities to customers and guests

  • Maintain current knowledge of Vertex Arena services and schedules

  • Attend staff training and meeting events as required by Leadership Team

  • Consistently and safely manages customer traffic in spectator area

  • Open and/or close trampoline areas

  • Report safety concerns to Operations Manager or Manager On Duty

  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of trampoline and spectator areas

  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and other leadership staff


Skills & Requirements


  • Must be 16 years of age or older

  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to relate to customers

  • Comfortable directing adults to follow the rules

  • High energy level and a positive attitude

  • Quickly grasp and communicate new policies, event types and procedures

  • Ability to work independently and also follow direction when required

  • Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

  • Exercise good judgment in personal actions and decisions

  • Proficient reading, writing and math skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR certification

  • Trampoline, diving and/or gymnastics experience preferred

  • Ability to operate 2-way radio


Mental and Physical Abilities


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit;

use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb

stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must

occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include

close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to

adjust focus.

  • Position Availability: January 2020

  • Part Time: up to 25 hours per week with some weekend and/or holiday coverage
